Gyeonggi MoMA, supported by the provincialgovernment and administered by the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, isactively involved in a contemporary art scene and presents afuture-oriented vision through collecting works of contemporaryart, conducting research, hosting regular and special exhibitionsand operating diverse education programs. Furthermore, by reachingout to other fields and genres in the arts, Gyeonggi MoMA provokesexperimentation and expansion in contemporary art. Aside from theseactivities, the museum also develops programs to encourage localcitizens in participation in the arts community, and activities toexpand its roles as a museum.
